How much does it cost to use the CompareBay SellSite? CompareBay PortalSite offers its customers an extremely flexible pricing structure. For customers on a tight budget, the only cost associated with using the CompareBay SellSite is a minimal one-time setup fee with no recurring monthly fees. We will then take 1% commission on each sale. This eliminiates risk on your side because if you don't sell anything, you don't pay anything. After setting up your account, you control, create and run your site from your Account Manager. You enter your product and pricing data and the CompareBay SellSite will generate the webpages. Creating a fully-functional, high-end, e-commerce site has never been easier!
Can I build my CompareBay SellSite store with other programs? All CompareBay SellSite stores must be designed with the CompareBay SellSite storefront builder interface. You can add your own graphics and backgrounds, but it is not possible to upload a website or webpages. Products must be entered via the CompareBay SellSite Account Manager to be enabled in the storefront's shopping cart. You can use the Account Manager to upload a product database and images.
Can I use my own domain name? Using our domain name utility you can have www.yourdomainname.com point to your CompareBay SellSite storefront. You may also have multiple domain names pointing to the same CompareBay SellSite storefront.
Can customers pay with a credit card on CompareBay SellSite storefronts? Yes. When your customers enter their credit card number when they place an order, you retrieve this number securely through the CompareBay SellSite Account Manager and process the credit card yourself. You must already have a credit card merchant account set up.
Does CompareBay SellSite handle product delivery or payment? No. Sending the product and receiving payment is entirely controlled by the merchant.
