CompareBay.com is a leading provider of e-commerce infrastructure software designed to revolutionize the purchasing and selling process of Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) transactions. CompareBay.com offers hosted Internet services that enable Net market makers, Global 2000, mid-sized, and small businesses to quickly build electronic marketplaces and professional storefronts, without installing or maintaining their own e-commerce infrastructures. CompareBay.com uses its own proprietary dynamic data filtering and integration technology to normalize and unify similar information from a number of heterogeneous sources. This technology allows CompareBay.com to aggregate, collate, and store all buying information into a single, virtual data set of prices and product features that is updated in real-time and presented to buyers in an user-friendly manner. In addition, through our data sharing technologies, each portal will be able to immediately obtain a large base of products and suppliers upon creation. Alex Ye
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

As CEO and co-founder of CompareBay.com, Mr. Ye drives the overall strategic direction of the company. His 26 years of IT experience have culminated in his innovative design and implementation of CompareBay.com's proprietary relational database system. Mr. Ye has consulted for many well-known firms, including:

  • US - Sun Microsystems; Pacific Bell; International Billing Services Inc.; Golden Food Service Corp.
  • CANADA - Goliger Travel Inc.; Mercantile Reinsurance Inc.; Glamour Look Ltd.
  • CHINA - Bank of China.

Michael Ye
Chief Operating Officer

As COO and co-founder of CompareBay.com, Michael oversees the sales and technology teams and is responsible for seeking and managing the strategic partnerships of the company. Prior to CompareBay, he has led numerous software projects, including an e-commerce website for Canada's largest cosmetics manufacturers, Glamour Look and a large-scale SABRE travelling reservation system for Goliger's Travel.

Chi Cheung
Vice President, Strategy

Chi is responsible for the formulation and execution of the company's overall strategy. As part of this responsibility, Mr. Cheung heads the Emerging Business Opportunity group. Prior to joining ComparyBay.com, Mr. Cheung has worked for numerous e-commerce and high-tech companies, including Procure, a leading B2B Internet firm. There, he drove the company's B2B solution, a next-generation system of XML-enabled payment technology.

Robert D. Schick
Vice President, Marketing

Mr. Schick oversees strategic marketing functions of CompareBay.com. Prior to joining CompareBay.com, Mr. Schick served as the vice president of internet services company POS.COM, where he managed a team of professionals in multiple departments including sales, maketing, and business development. Prior to POS.COM, Mr. Schick was vice president of Unisys Corp.’s Global Decision Support department, where he was given full-line P&L responsibility for $70M service practice.

Xin Zhou
Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Zhou is a co-founder of CompareBay.com and is focused on the company's technological innovation. With over 7 years of IT experience, Mr. Zhou has worked for numerous e-commerce and high-tech companies, including Ironside, a leading B2B Internet firm. He worked on the company’s flagship product Ironworks as well as their Ultra Thin Client Technology IronX. He has also been employed by Nortel Networks to direct the development of Symposium Call Center Toolkit, a next-generation XML-enabled B2B technology.

Niels Morten Hjortsvang
Director of Business Development

Mr. Hjortsvang manages strategic partnerships, investor relations and is responsible for long-term business growth strategies. He has 14 years of experience in Customer Relationship Management and Quality Assurance, including 6 years with as a Senior Business Analyst at Packard Bell.

Jianhua Cao
Chief Architect

Mr. Cao possesses a wide range of technical skills ranging from low-level algorithm analysis to overall architectural design. He has played a fundamental role in the formation of the CompareBay PortalSite's core infrastructure and its underlying proprietary algorithms.
